Architecture that Inspires
From our Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings to Fortaleza Hall and Waxbird Commons, our architecture reflects SC Johnson’s long history of innovative and inspired design.

Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Johnson Wax Headquarters
Still referred to as the ‘Johnson Wax Headquarters’ based on the company’s name when it was built, our Administration Building was an office like no other and an architectural treasure.

A design uniquely its own
Miles of glass Pyrex tubing form the Administration Building’s windows
Special brick shapes were created to achieve the curves Wright envisioned
Pieces of custom furniture were designed by Wright for SC Johnson
SC Johnson Research Tower
Completed in 1950, our Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Research Tower is a testament to creativity and an inspiration for famous brands like Raid® and Glade® that would be invented within it.

If one is in mind to build, the building should be a good one or none at all. We don’t build for today, but for tomorrow.H.F. Johnson, Jr.
Third-generation leader of SC Johnson
Fortaleza Hall: design that soars
Designed by world-renowned architect Lord Norman Foster, Fortaleza Hall is a contemporary partner to our Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and a celebration of life-changing adventures.

History on display
Pieces of sustainably harvested wood create a mosaic map from Racine to Fortaleza
Square metres of precast white concrete depict rasterised images of Brazilian palms
Species of plants are represented in the 15-metre-wide vertical garden wall
Bringing sustainability to life
The newest redesigned building on the SC Johnson campus, Waxbird Commons, includes features like geothermal exchange and photovoltaic-wind lights to reduce campus energy consumption.

More architecture to see
Frank Lloyd Wright also designed a home for H.F. Johnson, Jr., called Wingspread. Located about 5 miles from SC Johnson, and now the headquarters of the Johnson Foundation, you can book tours through our site.
