Saved my new IPhone

While canoeing on a barrier Island off the coast of Georgia, I had an accident getting out of the canoe and landed in murky, salty and very deep water. It took a while for me to be rescued so I was sure my new cell phone in my pant pocket was ruined. I had put it in a ziplock bag when we left our base dock but I had little hope it would be ok after being in the water for over 1/2 hour.
How thrilled was I when I got safely on the dock and took my phone out of my pocket and it was completely DRY! Working like a charm. Others had spent way more on waterproof products to protect their phones, etc but mine was the best.
