No Slick Floors

"I see that you no longer make Brite. My elderly mother really liked it because she said it was not slick. You are recommending Pledge, would that hold true for it also? She has balance problems and does not want a slick wax. – Rex"

Hi Rex, thanks for the question. We definitely want you and your mom to be safe when using our products. The good news is that Pledge® Tile & Vinyl does not leave floors slippery when dry, if used as directed. All of our floor care products are formulated with low slip ratio. Please note that before you use Pledge® on your mom’s floor, you should be sure that the floor is thoroughly cleaned first if another floor wax or polish was previously used. Cleaning the floor will help the Pledge® perform better – no dull spots or residue. A diluted mixture of ammonia and water may clean your floors but it all depends on the product that you used. We recommend that you check with the manufacturer of the product that is currently on the floor to determine the best way to remove it.
