Dear Sirs of SC Johnson, Your Pledge commercals are great but,there is another use.Fixing scratched CD & DVD's!The only suggestion is to keep it away from the center of the CD/DVD.It makes the discs too slippery for the players to grip.The main thing is it will work as good as any CD/DVD cleaner/fixer on the market!I have rented DVD's that have been scratched badly.The rental store wipes them down but,they still won't work.I use Pledge & they run fine!
Editor's note: Thanks for the story, Allan. We're glad Pledge® works well for you! It's not really designed for use on CDs/DVDs, though. Since we haven’t tested it on them, we wouldn't recommend using it since we can't predict the outcome. But we're really happy to hear how much you like Pledge®!
